The Evolution Elite Hockey Academy is the first age specific AA travel program in Colorado.  It is designed to develop the most talented and passionate 8U skaters in the Denver area and make them better.  The program focuses on skills development through expert coaching, repetition, and intense training.  Through on ice and off ice practices, each player works on specific mechanics that will make them a better skater.  Additionally, the program is focused around building solid team chemistry and camaraderie amongst the players.  The athletes feel like they are part of something greater then just themselves, teaching important life lessons.  The result is a solid group of boys who love to play hockey, and love to be together.

The spring season was the first for Evolution.  The skaters transferred from DU, Denver Country Club, Front Range, Foothills, and Littleton.  The 12 week program was designed to form the foundations for the fall, and culminated in a large tournament in Chicago.  The Evolution team performed flawlessly, remaining unbeaten in four games, and winning the Championship and taking home the trophy.  The story is played out on these pages.  The boys will take a break this summer, but will be back to compete again in a few months at the Silver Sticks Championships, the Mite World Championships, and test their might against the best teams from Canada come fall.
