Authentic Performance

Authentic Performance Sports Training will be incorporated into every EEHA players training regime.

These training sessions will take place over the course of weekend practices at the Authentic Performance Facility inside Big Bear Ice Arena.

Each athlete receives an Authentic Performance syllabus. The focus will be a progression based training format focusing on development of proper skating mechanics, speed development, lower body and upper body strength, power output, quickness, agility and speed enhancement.

All athletes will be pre-tested during their first session to understand their strength and weaknesses and then post-tested at the end of the season to showcase their results. The team training focus is to provide the optimal experience for off-ice training where athletes can learn individual skill sets and ways to improve their strength, balance and quickness while incorporating aspects of team building away from the ice in a fun and safe environment.
